KUAS Signs Academic Exchange Agreement with Seoul National University
News General 2020.06.03
This agreement establishes a cooperative relationship between the two parties, allowing them to exchange students and faculty members, conduct joint research, and co-host lectures and symposia.
Established in 1946 in the capital city of Seoul, Seoul National University is South Korea’s oldest and most distinguished national university, and enrolls approximately 28,000 students across its four campuses (two locations in Seoul, one in Pyeongchang where the 2018 Winter Olympics were held, and one in Siheung southwest of the capital). SNU has recently implemented the “BK 21 PLUS” Program (Brain Korea 21 Program for Leading Universities & Students), a next-generation human resources development program launched by the Korean government, with 70% of all faculty members participating through 38 different projects.
KUAS officials hope that this academic exchange agreement will promote the internationalization of both study and research activities at their new Faculty of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering.
