KUAS Signs Academic Exchange Agreement with University of Hawai’i

Kyoto University of Advanced Science has signed an academic exchange agreement with the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.
 
The purpose of this agreement is to strengthen the collaboration between the two universities in both education and research and to deepen mutual understanding between students and faculty members through the exchange of students, the sharing of academic information and materials, the establishment of a joint research system, and the holding of joint conferences as well as other exchange activities.

Founded in 1907, the University of Hawai'i System consists of three universities and seven community colleges located throughout the Hawaiian Islands. The flagship school, The University of Hawai’i at Manoa, is located in Honolulu, Oahu. In 2020, the Hawai’i was ranked as one of the top 250 American universities in the World University Rankings in the fields of second language education and research, plant biotechnology, oceanography, and astronomy, making it a top-tier university.
 
The University of Hawai'I possesses departments mirroring all of our faculties at KUAS, and we are hopeful that this will lead to many fruitful exchanges between our institutions.
