概要
京都先端科学大学工学部では、下記の通り、工学部機械電気システム工学科におけるシステム領域での研究、あるいは複数領域を横断する研究、および学生への教育に意欲的に取り組んでいただける助教を公募いたします。任用後は、システム工学を担当する川上浩司教授と共同で職務にあたります。
The Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) seeks one Assistant Professor. In addition to actively engaging in research activities, the Assistant Professor is expected to contribute to the department’s teaching activities in part. Candidates should be highly motivated, have interests and expertise in the area of the systems engineering and design, and will work closely with the relevant mentor, Professor Hiroshi KAWAKAMI.

(1) 上記の分野に関連する工学部教員と連携した当該分野における研究推進
Promoting research related to the above fields in cooperation with the relevant faculty member.
(2) 工学部の実験科目・演習科目補助
Aid for experimental subjects and practice subjects of the Faculty of Engineering.
(3) 工学部教員と連携した学部学生及び大学院生の研究指導補助
Supporting research guidance for undergraduate and graduate students.
(4) その他オープンキャンパスなどの学内用務補助
Other support for on-campus services such as open campus events. - 応募資格 Qualifications
(1) 博士の学位を有する方（採用時までに取得可能な方も含む）
Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in a relevant subject on or before the first day of employment.
(2) 上記関連分野で意欲的に研究を推進できる方
Candidates must be motivated and able to pursue and promote research and education in one or more of the fields indicated above.
(3) 学生指導、産学連携、学部・大学運営のいずれにも十分な熱意をもって取り組める方
Candidates must be motivated and able to engage in education, industry-academia collaboration and department and University management activities. - 着任時期 Starting date

常勤（5年任期）任期完了前に業績評価を行い、講師もしくは准教授への昇任審査を行う。昇任不可の場合、任期2年での再任とする。
Full-time (Fixed term)
The appointment period is up to 5 years. Prior to the end of the term, a review for the promotion to the position of associate professor or junior associate professor will be made based on achievements. If not approved, one additional appointment term of up to 2 years will be given. - 待遇 京都先端科学大学の規定による。定年は65歳。

Compensation

Educational & Research Achievements. Highlight one to three of them as major publications. （Form 6）

Photo Sheet, including a recent photograph of the applicant. （Form 7）
④ これまでの研究の概要（A4 用紙1ページ程度）
Summary of research achievements. Approximately one A4 page.
⑤ 着任後の研究計画（A4 用紙2 ページ程度）
Future research plan at KUAS. Approximately two A4 pages.
⑥ 教育についての抱負（A4 用紙1 ページ程度）
Aspirations for education at KUAS. Approximately one A4 page.
⑦ 業績リストに印を付けた論文の別刷（コピー可）
Copies of the above major publications. Full text of each paper/article, with publication information written on the first page if it is not included in the printed text.

Letters of recommendation from two referees.
上記書類①～⑧を郵送にて下記送付先に期限までにご提出ください。なお、封筒に「工学部助教応募書類在中（システム工学分野）」を朱書きし、簡易書留で送付してください。応募書類は返却しません。
