On January 8, 2026 (Thu), Kyoto University of Advanced Science held an English company information session by Toyota Battery Co., Ltd. at the Uzumasa Campus.
This session was organized with the cooperation of MOVIN Co., Ltd. and was mainly targeted at English-track international students of the Faculty of Engineering and the Graduate School of Engineering. On the day, many international students from both inside and outside the university participated, and the venue was filled with a great deal of enthusiasm. The company presentation and Q&A session were conducted entirely in English, providing students with a valuable opportunity to deepen their practical understanding of the company.
In addition, a KUAS graduate who is scheduled to join Toyota Battery Co., Ltd. in April 2026 also took the stage and shared their experiences with junior students, including their internship experience as a student, the atmosphere at the company, and the reasons why they decided to join the company.
During the Q&A session, many questions were raised on a wide range of topics, such as the working language in the company, details of internships, career development after joining the company, and the future direction of the company’s business and technologies. This resulted in a lively exchange of opinions, clearly demonstrating the strong interest of the students.
Information was also provided about an upcoming internship program to be conducted in English, and many students showed strong interest.
KUAS will continue to organize company information sessions and career-related events in English for international students and further enhance support for students’ career development.
