About Kyoto Kameoka Campus
The Kyoto Kameoka Campus is a place where students can learn and grow in a relaxed atmosphere against the backdrop of the magnificent natural beauty of Kameoka. This is the concept of Kyoto Kameoka Campus. We are further evolving our dynamic education, including locally-based industry-academia collaborative projects, and enhancing the learning environment.
Grounds
The ground used by the soccer, American football, and track and field teams is entirely covered with artificial turf, and is fully equipped for night games. It is also used for physical education classes.
Large Laboratory (Bio-Environment Hall)
The Bio-Environment Hall has three large laboratories with a capacity of 120 people. Each room is equipped with the latest experimental equipment and eight video monitors, providing a rich environment for experiments and research.
Clubhouse 2
There are two training rooms, one for general use and the other for athletes. There is also an instrumental music practice room, a Noh music practice room, club club club rooms, meeting rooms, locker rooms, and shower rooms.
Library
The library is an information center with a collection of approximately 430,000 books and more than 360 reading seats. The library also has a group reading room, a map reading room, a micro-reader room, and a video library with 18 viewing booths.
Food Development Center
This is a food processing facility with an area of approximately 150 tsubo. Equipped with a full-scale fermentation and brewing department, it can brew wine and beer. It is also equipped with equipment for baking, retort pouch production, miso production, and food drying and powdering.
