About Kyoto Uzumasa Campus
The keyword of the campus, located in the historic Uzumasa area, is “communication. It is a space where students can learn while being stimulated by various encounters. There are a variety of spaces that promote interaction, such as the Learning Commons and lounge. It is only a 3-minute walk from the TADATENJINGAWA Subway Station.
Mirai Hall (Large Lecture Room) North Building 3F Large Lecture Room
This hall can accommodate 500 people. It is used for various events such as symposiums as well as classes. The chairs are movable and can be stored on the walls to create a huge event space.
THE COMMONS G North Wing 1F
This cafeteria is open to the local community. It is operated by El Suehiro Food Service, which has its roots in a long-established Western-style restaurant. It offers a wide variety of dishes including menus supervised by famous chefs.
Independent Study Corner: Library, 1F, North Bldg.
This is a study space attached to the open stacks section of the library. In addition to a corner equipped with individual stand lights and PC outlets, there is also a corner by the window where notebook PCs can be used.
Happiness Hall, West Wing, 1F
Located on the first floor of the West Wing, Happiness Hall is a space for students to relax. It is a space that creates natural communication and makes interaction with friends and learning more enjoyable.
Women’s Restroom Powder Room West Wing
Spacious, clean powder rooms are located on all floors. They can be used freely and are popular among female students.
Psychology Experiment Facility West Wing, 4F
A wide variety of facilities for psychological experiments are available, including a laboratory with magic mirrors for measuring eye movements and observing natural human behavior. Students learn about the mechanisms and characteristics of the mind and body through experiments.
Learning Commons North Bldg. 1F Library
The library provides a space for students to study in groups. Students can bring in books from the library to prepare resumes for seminars, practice group presentations, or use the library in any other way they wish.
Practical Nursing Room (Basic and Adult Nursing) East Wing 4F
Equipped with a lecture space and clinical space (23 beds), these practice rooms are used to cultivate basic nursing practice skills. The content of lectures can be projected on a large display screen and practiced in parallel.
Kyoto Ohata Campus
The Kyoto-Taishin Campus is located in Ukyo-ku, Kyoto City. Ukyo-ku, Kyoto is home to various institutions of higher education and is a thriving student town. Kyoto-Taishin Campus is a newly established campus that opened in April 2015.
International Student Dormitory
The International Student Dormitory is located in the South Building of the Ohata Campus and is literally on campus, making it a very convenient dormitory. The dormitory will be open to international students from the fall semester of 2020 and undergraduate students from 2021.
Learning Commons South Bldg. 2F, 3F, 4F
There is a spacious Learning Commons, where you are free to sit wherever you like every day. From the 2021 academic year, we will begin accepting international students. In the 2021 academic year, we will begin accepting international students, who will sit around the table and work on various assignments as a team, transcending nationalities.
Machinery Workshop, South Building 1F
The electrical and electronics workshop is located on the 4th floor of the school building, and the mechanical workshop is on the 1st floor and basement. Most of the parts used will be free of charge, so students can make prototypes as soon as the inspiration strikes them, or even multiple times. Students can spend their four years in an environment that is irresistible to those who love making things.
