Job Hunting Support

This is a special job hunting course that has been held since 2018 to further improve the skills of students who have volunteered to participate and are highly motivated to find employment, and to create an environment where students can work hard together. Students who have participated in the course have won job offers from challenging companies and blue-chip companies such as the NIDEC Group and major financial institutions.

We provide information according to the time of year, such as the start of the first and second year, spring, autumn and February of the third year. You can learn about the significance of participating in internships, both formal and informal, from an early stage, as well as how to lead a university life, and how to prepare for and approach job hunting.

During their time as students, most students only know about a small number of companies before they start their job-hunting activities. Every year, around 200 companies from a variety of industries participate, including companies listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, companies that represent their industries, and excellent companies based in Kyoto.
By listening to talks from actual company representatives, students can broaden their perspective on society and gain a clearer image of what it is like to work. This event provides an opportunity for students and companies to interact over a long period of time, with the timing of the event staggered to accelerate preparations for job-hunting activities.

Over 90% of companies use written or web-based tests as part of their recruitment process. It is essential to prepare for the SPI test, which is the most widely used of these tests. We offer a variety of study opportunities, including long-term courses and short, intensive courses. The number of participants is increasing year by year, and the awareness of our students is changing, and they are making further progress in their preparations for job hunting.

Photos are essential for job hunting, including internships. At our university, we hold a job hunting photo shoot with a professional photographer early in the third year. There is also professional job hunting makeup, so it is also an opportunity to learn about personal appearance for job hunting.

We hold a business trip consultation meeting with each job hunting agent for new graduates.
From interviews with each agent to company introductions and follow-up to job offers, depending on your wishes, it is also an opportunity to learn about companies you were not aware of.
