Research Overview

I am researching the causes of injuries (sports injuries) that occur during sports and physical activities, focusing on the factors that influence their occurrence. The causes of injuries vary, including muscle strength, flexibility, bone alignment, and environmental factors, and these differ depending on the sport and the individual. I also share information through conferences and lectures to promote proper understanding tailored to each specific attribute.

Message

Since I came to deeply understand the proverb "Every cloud has a silver lining" (Japanese: "Jingan Banji Saiou ga Uma"), I have been saved by its wisdom many times. This proverb teaches us the importance of not getting too excited during good times or too disheartened during bad times because happiness and misfortune are hard to predict. We often hear phrases like "A crisis is an opportunity" and "Failure is the mother of success." However, in many cases, people become discouraged by crises or failures and give up before they can seize the opportunities or achieve success that might follow. I believe this proverb reminds us of the importance of continuing on, no matter what happens. That said, I also fully understand the difficulty of persisting. In the SLS (Sports Life Skills) course, you will experience a variety of sports over about two years. By challenging yourself with unfamiliar sports, you will likely experience a wide range of emotions and situations. But I believe that beyond overcoming failures and challenges lies something you have never experienced before. Trying new things is full of learning and discovery, and the value of these experiences varies from person to person. The SLS course is designed to be enjoyable and accessible. Please enjoy it!
