Brief Biography | Professor at Kyoto University of Advanced Sciences, Business School. He holds a Master of Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Economics from Kyoto University. He has worked at Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. and its overseas offices in New York and London, and as an Executive Officer of Nomura Securities Co. He then became a professor at Kyoto University, assuming his current position in April 2021. He is also a visiting professor at Kyoto University, a adjunct professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University, a member of the Management Committee of the Government Pension Investment Fund, a member of the Financial System Council of the Ministry of Finance, the Editor in Chief of Securities Analysts Journal, the Asset Management Committee Chairman of National Pension Fund Association, an advisor to Money Design, and an outside director of Sustainable Labo. His books include “Asset Management Methods in the Age of Aging,” “Research on ESG Investment,” “Dictionary of Financial Engineering,” etc. |
