学長からメッセージ：学生、教職員各位／Message from the President: to all Students, Faculty, and Staff

ワクチンの接種率は全学部学科を通して、８０％を超えました。
複数の学科では９０％を超える接種率を達成いたしました。
教職員は、事情のある方を除きほぼ100％の接種を完了しました。

ご理解とご協力いただいた皆さんに感謝すると共に、このワクチン接種に非常に多くの時間を割いていただいた健康医療学部の教職員、保健室職員、本部職員に感謝いたします。

以上の結果を受け、今後とも感染症対策を十分に行うことを前提に、キャンパスへの立ち入りについて制限は行わないことにいたしました。

本学は授業の対面率を重視し、緊急事態宣言下でも対面授業率50％を確保して参りましたが、これから演習実技を中心にさらに増加して参ります。

皆さんのキャンパスライフが充実したものになるように期待しております。

なお、クラブ活動については、部長、監督等の責任において、ワクチンの二回接種、PCR検査による陰性確認を併用する事で活動をすすめてもらう事としております。

油断は禁物です。不織布マスク必着、社会的距離の確保、黙食の励行、密な状態での飲食は行わないなど、今後とも厳しく行動を律してください。

太秦、亀岡両キャンパスは、安全で、皆さんが安心して活動できる拠点として、機能していくと考えております。

The vaccination rate at KUAS has exceeded 80% in every Faculty, with several achieving a vaccination rate over 90%. Furthermore, almost 100% of our faculty and staff have been vaccinated, with the exception of a few with special needs.

I would like to thank everyone involved for their cooperation, including the faculty members of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, the Nurse’s Office staff, and the vaccine HQ staff who devoted so much time to this vaccination campaign.

Based on the above results, we have decided not to impose any restrictions on access to the campus, with the premise that everyone will continue to take sufficient safety measures.

At KUAS, we have been emphasizing the ratio of face-to-face classes and managed to ensure that at least half of our classes were conducted in-person, even during the state of emergency. We will further increase this ratio in the future, especially for practical exercises.

I hope that everyone’s time here at KUAS is a fulfilling one.

As for club activities, it is the responsibility of the managers and supervisors to ensure that all participants have received both doses of the vaccines or that PCR testing is used to ensure that all club members are COVID-negative.

Nevertheless, we cannot let our guard down. Please continue to strictly adhere to all safety guidelines, such as wearing a non-woven mask, maintaining a social distance, not speaking while eating, and not eating or drinking in close quarters with others.

Let's make our Uzumasa and Kameoka campuses safe and welcoming places that will act as hubs for everyone's academic and extracurricular activities.
