本学は、4月6日にウクライナで学びと研究の場を失った学生・大学院生、研究者に修学・研究機会を提供すると本学WEBサイトで発信しました。
世界の大学ポータルサイトの役割を果たす「List of Universities Helping Ukrainian Students」に日本で唯一、本学名が掲載され、現地の学生より続々と志願者が集まっています。
今週よりオンライン面接を開始し、早ければ、4月中、5月初旬に来日の運びとなる可能性もあります。
その動きに先立ち、本学ではまずは学内で寄付金を募っておりますが、寄付金も順調に集まっております。
入学者決定、来日等が決まり次第、随時、ニュースで配信致します。
以下の内容で支援致しますので、学内、および学外の皆さまにおかれましても、改めて寄付のお願いを申し上げます。
本支援に伴う寄付金の使途について
(1) 渡日等に関する取扱窓口の設置
(2) 経済的支援（渡航や生活のための支援金の支給）
(3) 住居支援（住居・宿舎等の確保）
(4) その他、ご家族に関する支援や受入れに関する取組等に活用
なお、皆さまからのご支援に残額が発生した際には、ウクライナ大使館等の公的な人道支援機関に託させていただきます。
税法上の優遇措置及び領収書の発行について
本ご寄付につきましては、上記使途説明のとおり、万一本学が受け入れた学生のために使用するよりも多額のご寄付をいただいた場合、大学としてそのご寄付を使用せず、ウクライナの人道支援のために公的機関に託します。この場合、通常の大学への寄付に対する税法上の優遇措置の対象外となります。
本ご寄付につきましては、大学として使途が確定した後に税額控除のための領収証を発行いたします。ご了承お願い申し上げます。

Ukraine Support UPDATE: Many Ukrainian Students Are Applying for Admission to KUAS!

On April 6, 2022, KUAS announced that it would provide study and research opportunities to students, graduate students, and researchers who displaced by the conflict in Ukraine.
As of this writing, KUAS is the only Japanese university to be listed on the "List of Universities Helping Ukrainian Students," which serves as a portal site for universities all over the world. As a result, we are now receiving a steady stream of applications from students in Ukraine. Online interviews will begin this week, and the first batch of students may be able to come to Japan as early as April or early May. More news will be released as soon as it is decided which students are coming to Japan.
In preparation, KUAS has started an on-campus donation drive, to which many of our community members have already provided generous donations.
Once again, your donations make our support of Ukrainian students possible, so we humbly ask for your kind support in this endeavor.
