The Final Presentation Event for the 2025 Summer Internship Program was held on Saturday, October 11. Students shared what they learned and experienced during their internships, while answering questioning and receiving valuable feedback from the audience.
This year’s event was another lively one with over 370 participants, including 226 interns, 90 company representatives, and many of our university’s faculty, staff, and observing students.

Internships Abroad: An Invaluable Experience
Of the 226 participating students, 36 bravely took on the challenge of doing their internships abroad. They experienced life and work in countries all over the world, including China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India, New Zealand, Canada, and the US. Many of these students were traveling abroad for the first time, and directly experienced major differences in language, culture, communication styles, and work culture. Japanese students who went abroad presented in English during the event.

International Students: Taking on Internships in Japan
Internships are open to Japanese and international students alike. This year saw 52 international students join the program, a significant increase from previous years and the highest number seen so far. Many of these students had the opportunity to intern at Japanese companies for the first time, learning and contributing in spite of linguistic and cultural barriers. During the event, they delivered their presentations in Japanese.

Networking Reception: Building and Strengthening Connections
The presentations were followed by a networking reception, where students, university staff, and company representatives gathered to interact more and build connections. Students took the chance to proactively communicate, not only with the people they met during their internships but with plenty of new people as well. 3 of our interns volunteered to MC for the event, give their greetings, and express their gratitude to the company representatives.

Closing the 2025 Program and Looking to the Future
We are pleased to say this the 2025 program has concluded successfully. Countless students have mentioned that it was a fantastic opportunity for them to gain real-world work experience, learn more about themselves, and grow as people.
We thank everyone who helped make the summer internships possible, and we look forward to an even bigger and better program next year that fulfills the needs of all participating companies and students.
