Our young team, all of whom are freshmen, ventured into the competition. This is because after participating in the competition last year, we decided to position this tournament as a springboard event to motivate our freshmen to make further progress and stand on their own. As a result, they did not shy away from other senior students and played an attack-focused game full of fighting spirit. We were also proud of the fact that they displayed their daily achievements and showed clear improvement from their high school days. In addition, many alumni from Kyoto Gakuen University came to watch the game, and they were very pleased to see our juniors win the team tournament twice in a row and perform well in the individual competition. We will not be satisfied with the current situation and will continue to work hard together with the students.
