On Tuesday, January 27, 2025, the 2025 Academic Year Outstanding Club Awards Ceremony was held at Sagano Hall on Uzumasa Campus.
This ceremony recognizes clubs that achieved outstanding results in extracurricular activities during the 2025 academic year, as well as students who made significant contributions to student self-governance activities.
This year, 7 groups and 22 individuals received awards.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Masataka Nakamura, President of the Alumni Association, and Ms. Mami Umemoto, President of the Student Guardian Association.

Following opening remarks by President Masashi Maeda, awards were presented to each group and individual. Commemorative gifts and monetary awards were bestowed by the University, the Alumni Association, and the Student Guardian Association.
The venue was filled with warm applause celebrating the achievements of the award recipients. The ceremony concluded smoothly with closing remarks by Vice President Akinari Hirai.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all award recipients, those who devoted themselves to club activities, and everyone involved. We look forward to continued success and future achievements.

President’s Address (Summary)
I would like to express my deepest respect to all of you who have successfully balanced your academic studies with extracurricular activities while continuing to strive toward your goals. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to the members of the Alumni Association and the Student Guardian Association for their generous support of our students.
This year saw a wide range of remarkable achievements demonstrating both diversity and potential, including the women’s basketball team retaining its place in the first division and receiving an Outstanding Player Award, the baseball and powerlifting clubs earning Rookie Awards, and the Recreation Club winning its first championship.
The skills and experiences cultivated through extracurricular activities serve as invaluable nourishment for personal growth. Your dedication and challenges serve as important guideposts for younger students. I encourage you to regard this award as a new starting point and to continue believing in your own potential as you strive for even greater heights.
