Since joining the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (now the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry), held various key positions in industrial, trade, energy, regional, and innovation policies. Also experienced secondments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Embassy of Japan in France), the Economic Planning Agency (now the Cabinet Office), and JOGMEC (now the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security). Built extensive networks both domestically and internationally. Served as Director-General of the Hokkaido Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, Special Advisor to the Ministry of the Environment, and Senior Executive Director at the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation.

Leveraging extensive experience gained at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of the Environment, currently provides management guidance to IT and energy companies as well as startup ventures aiming for public listing. Actively promotes initiatives for regional revitalization and development. Additionally, serves as a speaker at domestic and international conferences, engaging in activities not limited to theoretical discussions but also practical contributions to global and Japanese society.

Achievements and Awards

Engaged in international management as well as domestic and global policies related to industry, trade, energy (currently focusing on hydrogen), regional development, and innovation.

Involved in advancing Japan's energy efficiency, renewable energy, and smart grid technologies, including energy storage. Also contributes to regional revitalization and the development and progress of circular and symbiotic agro-industrial systems.
