IEEE selects Dean Tabata as the leading researcher in the early days of MEMS

Professor Osamu Tabata, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, has been selected as one of the early visionaries and entrepreneurs whose contributions have been recognized and appraised around the globe planned by the MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technical committee of IEEE (the World's largest society for electrical systems).
