12月6日（土）亀岡キャンパスで、1、2年生を中心とした、出身国、学年、学部学科の垣根を越えた「KUASバーベキュー2025」を開催しました。学生スタッフ、職員が一丸となり、朝から野菜を洗ったり、テーブルを設置したり、受付などの準備を行いました。
三村バイオ環境学部長の乾杯の後、バーベキューがスタート。晴天にも恵まれ、約100名の学生たちは楽しいひとときを過ごしました。
学生たちは協力してバーベキューの仕込みや調理を行いました。一つの作業を一緒にすることで、言葉の壁を超えたコミュニケーションが生まれ、お互いの距離が一気に縮まっているようでした。
ハラルメニュー（イスラム教徒が安心して食べられる食材）を含め、バラエティに富んだメニューが用意され、参加者からは自然と笑みがこぼれていました。
楽しい仲間、陽気な音楽、そしておいしい料理のおかげで、参加者にとって、お腹も心も満たされる素敵な一日となりました。

On Saturday, December 6, the “KUAS Barbecue 2025” was held at the Kameoka Campus that brought together primarily first- and second-year students across nationalities, academic years, and faculties. Student staff and staff members worked together from the morning, washing vegetables, setting up tables, and preparing the reception area.
After a toast by Dean Mimura of the Faculty of Bioenvironmental Sciences, the barbecue began. Blessed with clear skies, about 100 students enjoyed a wonderful time together.
Students collaborated in preparing and barbequing the food. Working on tasks together created opportunities for communication beyond language barriers, and it brought everyone closer together.
A diverse menu was provided, including halal options (ingredients safe for Muslim participants), which naturally brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
Thanks to great company, cheerful music, and delicious food, it was a day that filled both hearts and stomachs, making it a truly memorable experience for all participants.
