Issuance of Certificates (For Current Students)

For information on how to apply for a certificate for non-enrolled students, please refer to the "Issuance of Certificates (for Graduates, Alumni and Displaced Students)" (Japanese).

This service is not available to Non-regular students. Please contact "certificate@ml.kuas.ac.jp" by email.

To have a certificate issued at a convenience store, you need to log in and apply for the Convenience Store Certificate Issuance Service in advance.

<About Online Sending>
PDF data of the certificate, digitally signed and time-stamped by the Certificate Authority, can be sent directly to the e-mail address of the company or other organization to which the certificate is submitted. The recipient of the certificate can download the certificate from a one-time URL only once.

Note: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan does not recognize the authenticity of POPITA anti-counterfeiting. If you wish to submit your application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, please apply for issuance by mail rather than at a convenience store.

If you receive the certificate by mail, a postage fee will be charged. If you print certificates from a multi-copier at a convenience store, a printing fee of 60 yen per sheet is required.

Unauthorized use will be dealt with severely.
※1 Can only be used when the one-way distance exceeds 100 km. (Cannot be used to purchase commuter passes).
※2 This service is available only for students who commute to school for the purpose of attending regular classes.

Reissuance of Student ID Cards

If you wish to have your student ID card reissued due to loss or other reasons, you may apply via the convenience store certificate issuing service.

Reissued IDs can only be handed out at the University.

The reissue procedure costs 5,000 yen. Please take good care of your student ID. 

◎For those who wish to pick up certificates at the University

Please come to the office where you applied to pick up the certificate within 3 business days after you apply for the certificate (*).
※Please bring idenfication with you when picking up your certificate (driver's license, health insurance card, etc.) 

Office hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (weekdays only) 
*There is no service during the year-end and New Year vacations and summer vacation. 

To the persons receiving our students' certificates (employers, etc.)

The various certificates that can be issued at convenience stores are protected against counterfeiting by POPITA technology. You can verify the authenticity of these certificates using this technology.
