This is a list of the Chinese universities that have exchange agreements with KUAS.

Nantong University

Nantong University was established as a comprehensive university in September 2004 through the merger of Nantong Medical School, Nantong Engineering School, and Nantong College. Although the name Nantong University is new, the original Nantong Medical School and Nantong Institute of Engineering were founded in 1912, and Nantong College was founded in 1958, giving the institution a long history.

Nantong University is under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, and currently has 25 "colleges" (equivalent to the Faculties and Departments of Japanese universities) with a total of 27,000 students and 1,400 full-time faculty members.

In addition to Nantong's three original campuses, a new campus has been constructed in the center of the New Town area in the suburbs, and is now partially in use. The total area of the campus is about 200 hectares, of which the new campus occupies about 130 hectares. Student dormitories have been built in one area of each campus, and many students live there.

Cafeterias, stores, post offices, etc. are located around the dormitories. Most of the dormitories were built in the last few years, and each room is equipped with a restroom, shower, and internet access.

Application Guidelines for 2022 Spring Departure Exchange Programs to China

We are looking for students who would like to study in China from the spring semester of 2022.

Host University	Nantong University
Features	Nantong University is located in the south of China (Jiangsu Province) and has 25 departments. Nantong features courses where international students can study Chinese, which will help you improve your Chinese skills. In the global society of the future, not only English but also Chinese language skills will be needed. ① Chinese Course: for students who want to learn Chinese ② Nantong University’s Course: for students who have Chinese language skills and can take classes in Chinese
Period	① February 2022～June 2022 (6 months) ② February 2022～January 2023 (1 year)
Max Applicants	2 students
Qualifications	Students must be enrolled at the university for at least one year at the time of departure. Students must have earned an average of at least 18 credits per semester.(*For students entering in 2021 or later, the applicant must have earned an average of 20 credits or more per semester, and must have completed the required courses up to the previous semester at the time of application.) Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 at the time of application. For the Chinese Course, students must have completed credits for Chinese I and II, or have equivalent or higher Chinese proficiency (HSK test level 3). For the Nantong University Course, students must have sufficient Chinese proficiency to take university courses in Chinese.

Credit Approval	Credits for courses taken at the host university will be converted according to the credit approval standards set forth in KUAS' academic regulations. However, in this case, the maximum number of credits that can be approved is 60.
