Located in the historic Uzumasa area of Kyoto City, the key-word for Uzumasa Campus is "communication." Students at Uzumasa can expect stimulating encounters with all different manner of students and teachers every day. Uzumasa Campus houses learning commons, lounges, and other spaces that promote interaction, as well as a cafeteria that is open to the local community. The Uzumasa Campus is also very accessible, and is only a three-minute walk from the Uzumasa Tenjingawa subway station.

Mirai Hall

Located in the Uzumasa Campus North Building, the Mirai Hall has an audience capacity of 500. Used for a variety of events, including classes and various symposia, the chairs are movable and can be retracted into the wall to create a huge event space.

The Commons G

A cafeteria open to the general public and managed by El Suehiro Food Service, which has its roots in a long-established Western-style restaurant. It offers a wide variety of cuisine, including dishes creates by famous chefs.

Independent Study Corner

This study space is attached to the open are of the North Library. In addition to an area with individual stand lights and outlets for computers, there is a space near the window where students can use their own laptops.

Happiness Hall

Happiness Hall, located on the first floor of the West Building, is a space for students to relax. The purpose of this area is to foster communication between students and make socializing and learning on campus more enjoyable.

Women's Powder Rooms

Spacious, clean powder rooms are located on all floors of the West and South Buildings and freely available to all female students.

Psychology Lab Facility

The psychology lab contains is a wealth of equipment for psychology experiments, including an observation room with one-way mirror that allows students to observe their subjects. Here, students learn about the mechanisms and characteristics of the mind and body through experimentation.

Learning Commons

In this library space, students can study in groups. Students can bring in books to create reports for their seminars, practice group presentations, and use the library in any way they want.

Nursing Practice Room

This practice room is equipped with a lecture space and clinical floor (with 23 beds) to develop student's basic nursing practice skills. Lectuer contents are projected on a large display, allowing students to practice at the same time.

Uzumasa Campus

The Kyoto Uzumasa Campus is located in Ukyo-ku, Kyoto. Ukyo-ku is home to several universities and is a thriving student town. The KUAS Uzumasa Campus was newly established and opened in 2015.

International Student Dormitory

This student dormitory is located in the South Building of Uzumasa campus, and as the name implies, it is a very convenient and international place for students to live. The dormitory first opened in the spring of 2020 with a predominantly Japanese group of student tenants, but from the fall semester of 2020, international students have begun to move into the dorm.
