Uzumasa Campus is a new campus established in 2015. Uzumasa is very close to the downtown area of Kyoto City, and is surrounded by many important historical sites. Students can experience the unique tradition and culture of Kyoto while studying in a fully equipped modern campus.
Compact but Fully Functional
Uzumasa Campus consists of the following four large buildings:
North Building: Has the most lecture rooms, mainly for Global Business and Economics classes. It also has a library, cafeteria and a large-scale lecture hall.
East Building: Has practical training rooms for the Department of Nursing and general offices.
West Building: Has Humanities lecture rooms and the Career Development Center.

The buildings are still new and well-kept, and they are all equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The entire campus is equipped with staple amenities such as Wifi, restrooms with changing rooms, and prayer rooms. Students can work in a comfortable environment for their classes and practical training.
Communication and Exchange
There are learning commons and lounges in various places throughout Uzumasa Campus, where students can study independently or do group work. Compared to Kameoka Campus, it is compact, but it makes up for its size with plentiful opportunities for students to interact with each other. The courtyard surrounded by the four buildings is sunny with plenty of space and is very popular as a spot for students to spend their downtime.
Eating and Shopping
The Uzumasa Campus has a cafeteria that serves Japanese-style set menus, noodles, curry and rice, and other low-priced meals. Many students look forward to the boxed lunch vendors and food trucks that come to the courtyard on a daily basis. There is also a fully stocked convenience store and a bookstore on campus.
If one wishes to spend time off campus, various restaurants, cafes and a shopping mall are immediately accessible.
With all that it offers, Uzumasa Campus is nothing short of a convenient place for KUAS students to live.
