At Kyoto University of Advanced Science, students learn from world-renowned experts who are shaping the future of engineering and science.

We are proud to announce that KUAS Vice President Osamu Tabata has received the “Outstanding Editor Award” from the prestigious journal Microsystems & Nanoengineering. The award was presented on October 16 in Wuhan, China, during the journal’s 10th-anniversary event.

Microsystems & Nanoengineering, published jointly by Springer Nature and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a leading open-access international journal focused on MEMS/NEMS technology. It is highly regarded in the academic community for covering everything from basic research to advanced applications.

Vice President Tabata was not only honored with the award but also invited to deliver a special lecture. He spoke on “Microfluidic-Assisted Assembly of Fluorescent Nanodiamonds for Temperature Mapping of Organoid on MPS,” showcasing the cutting-edge research being conducted right here at KUAS.
