Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) has two campuses in Kyoto: Uzumasa Campus and the Kameoka Campus. Each campus offers a distinctive environment and specialized facilities, providing students with diverse and enriching learning experiences.
Uzumasa Campus is located in Ukyo Ward, a historic area in Kyoto City. While surrounded by quiet residential neighborhoods, the area is also home to several schools and educational institutions, creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for students. Kameoka Campus is situated in Kameoka City, on the western side of Kyoto Prefecture. Known for its rich agricultural heritage and abundant natural surroundings, Kameoka offers a peaceful environment characterized by gentle rivers and rolling hills. The expansive campus is set within this scenic landscape, providing an ideal setting for focused study and hands-on learning. It is approximately 45 minutes by train from Kyoto Station.

Campus Shuttle Bus
Regardless of their primary campus, students may attend classes held at either the Uzumasa or Kameoka Campus. In such cases, KUAS provides a free shuttle bus service between the two campuses.
The shuttle bus connects KUAS Uzumasa and Kameoka Campuses in approximately 40 minutes and operates up to 10 round trips per day. The service is available not only for attending classes, but also for extracurricular activities, research, and campus events.
This convenient service ensures smooth and easy access to academic and campus life across both locations, allowing students to make the most of the resources and opportunities available at KUAS.
