Global BBQ: Forging Student Unity | KUAS

On December 6, the Kameoka Campus served as the backdrop for the KUAS Global BBQ 2025, a vibrant convergence of our international community. Far more than a casual gathering, this event represented a celebration of our diverse student body, bringing together approximately 100 students from across the globe to foster camaraderie, share cuisine, and build lasting connections.

Cultivating Community Through Collaboration

True connection often begins with a shared purpose. From the preparation of ingredients to the management of the grills, students engaged in a collective culinary effort. Regardless of language barriers or national origins, the shared mission of creating a meal dismantled cultural divides, facilitating organic and meaningful dialogue.

A Standard of Inclusivity

At KUAS’, we believe that inclusivity is the foundation of a thriving community. To ensure every student felt welcome, the menu was curated with diversity in mind, featuring an extensive selection of Halal options. Accompanying the dining experience was an atmosphere defined by excellent music, ideal weather, and the spirited exchange of ideas—a true testament to the vibrant student life at our university.
