KUAS Internship Division Connects Students to Global Careers | KUAS
Oct 28, 2025
General
At Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS), we believe education must connect directly to the real world. Our 2025 Internship Division is a cornerstone of this philosophy, bridging the gap between classroom theory and professional practice for our students.
This commitment was on full display at our 2025 Internship Division Results Report Meeting on October 11. The event was a massive success, bringing together 226 student interns, 90 company representatives, and a total of 370 participants to celebrate the practical skills and insights gained.

International Students Shine in Japanese Companies

We are especially proud to announce that 52 of our international students successfully completed internships at Japanese companies. For many, this was their first experience in a Japanese corporate environment. Overcoming language and cultural barriers, they delivered their final presentations in Japanese, sharing the valuable lessons they learned and deeply impressing our partner companies.
This success is a testament to our commitment to helping international students build a real career in Japan.
A Gateway to the World

The program’s reach is also global. This year, 36 KUAS students took on the challenge of interning abroad, embedding themselves in companies across the USA, Canada, New Zealand, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and India. They presented their findings in English, sharing how they navigated different work cultures and global communication standards.

The event, which concluded with a lively networking session, was more than a report; it was a celebration of professional growth. It’s how our students build a resume and a global network before they graduate.
