標題の件につきまして、26日、モデルナ社製の一部ワクチンの異物混入による使用見合わせの報道がありました。関係者の皆様にはご心配をおかけしておりますが、本学接種会場では該当のロット番号を使用しておりませんでしたので、お知らせいたします。また、本学では日頃よりワクチン接種のマニュアルに基づいて、異物の混入がないことを十分確認の上、接種を実施しておりますことをご報告申し上げます。

IMPORTANT

Regarding Contamination of Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines: KUAS Vaccines not Affected

On August 26th, Japanese news outlets reported that a portion of Moderna vaccines had been contamination by a foreign substance, and that the use of some Moderna vaccines is being delayed to ensure their safety.

Please be informed that the Moderna vaccines used at the KUAS vaccination site do not belong to the same batches (lot numbers) as the vaccines which were discovered to be contaminated. We would also like to inform you that all vaccinations at KUAS are being conducted in accordance with our vaccination manual, and that our staff are thoroughly inspecting all vaccines before use.
