合格が決まった男子学生が無事にウクライナを出国 / First Ukrainian Student Safely Leaves Ukraine for Poland

本学に入学が決まったウクライナ在住の男子学生が本学の入学許可書を携え、5月15日（日）日本時間午前1時頃、無事にウクライナの国境を越え、ポーランドに向けて出国することができました。

5月12日に開催したオンライン懇談会には家族で出国するため移動中とのことで残念ながら不参加となった男子学生でしたが、無事に出国できたとのニュースに関係者一同、安堵しました。

今後、本学では日本でのウクライナ人学生の受入れ大学が増えることを目的に、男子学生がウクライナを出国するために必要な手続き等をまとめ、要請があれば、日本の他大学にも情報を共有する予定にしております。

At around 1:00 AM Japan Time on Sunday, May 15, the first of several Ukrainian students who was accepted to KUAS as a full-time student safely crossed the Ukrainian border into Poland using a letter of invitation from our university.

The student was unable to participate in the online meeting held on May 12 because he was preparing to evacuate with his family, but everyone involved with the KUAS Ukraine Support Project was relieved to hear that he was able to enter Poland safely.

In order to increase the number of Ukrainian students accepted to Japanese universities, KUAS will compile all necessary procedures for male students to leave Ukraine and share this information with other universities in Japan upon request.
